Los Angeles, CA – Oct, 8 2026 – Longtime business partners and friends Randy Davis and Mike Rasmussen today announced the formation of Special Sauce Inc., a new mobile-first game studio dedicated to creating engaging casual games that stand out through personality and long-term playability.
“After years of building and shipping mobile games, we identified clear opportunities to innovate in genres that have grown stagnant,” said Randy Davis, Founder and CEO. “Teaming up with Mike allows us to finally bring these ideas to life. Special Sauce Inc. will focus exclusively on the casual mobile segment, leveraging the founders’ deep expertise in a market that continues to reward high-quality, evergreen titles. The studio plans to differentiate itself by infusing humor, strong characters, and unexpected delight into game categories that have traditionally overlooked these elements.
